What's Happening in First....
I can't believe we are already 4 weeks into the 3rd quarter...we have so much to still learn! In this nine weeks we will continue to learn about Non-fiction Text Features, reading informational and fictional texts and identifying key details, asking and answering questions about a text. We will also write an informative piece on animals, learn all about Pebbles, Sand and Silt, and finding our way around our Community. In math we will learn all about Geometry - 2 and 3D shapes and their attributes, fluently add and subtract, equivalent equations and addition / subtraction within word problems.
